Homeless or is at risk of becoming homeless with the Moree Plains Shire
Are single male or female aged 16 years and over or couples who are 16 years of age and over with or without children
Women and children who are escaping domestic violence.

The refuge accepts women and children who are homeless due to Domestic Violence or other circumstances beyond their control. Boys over 14 years are not accepted and this is supported by an exemption under the Anti- Discrimination Act.

Girls under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by their mother or guardian.

We offer crisis services to those that are eligible. This is done through direct service, advocacy and referral depending on the needs of the client and the resources available at the time of assessment.
